Written by Medhaavi Mishra

A staple of Middle Eastern cooking, za’atar is easy to prepare and wonderfully versatile to use. Make your own mix and use it as a seasoning over salads, hummus, and eggs or as a roasting spice.

Or just tear up some warm pita bread, dip it in olive oil, and into the za’atar. The result? Yum!

Za’atar Spice Mix
