For large families, people who have a lot of luggage, or both, a 7-seater car is the only option. Previously, 7-seater cars used to be bulky and practical, but many larger cars are now stylish and attractive. The popularity of large SUVs has risen over the past few years and rightly so! If you’re in the market for a 7-seater this year, there are some great choices to be made! Let’s take a look at the best 7-seater cars 2021.

What to look for when buying a large SUV?

If you’re looking for an MPV or an SUV, there are a few ways in which you can help to find the perfect fit for you and your family. The number of passengers you have and how old they are can determine what type of vehicle you need. For example, if you have older children, you could do with more room to spread out. You should also factor in cost of getting an SUV. Some high-end models like the Audi Q7 can be expensive to buy. You could consider spreading the cost by getting 7 seater cars on finance instead of one lump sum. If you’re looking or family car, safety, practicality, and reliability will also be important to you.

5. Peugeot 5008

The Peugeot 5008 has seen a massive improvement this year. The 2021 version is stylish and eye catching. The bold styling gives off Range Rover Evoque vibes and oozes usability. It’s actually a mid-size SUV that is competing with some of the big players in the 7-seater category. It has 5 individual seats and a third row that is sufficient for a child. It has good seating options with the ability to slide the seats to make extra room. Each version of the Peugeot 5008 is well equipped, all benefit from autonomous emergency braking and an impressive connectivity.

4. Audi Q7

The Audi Q7 is one of the best-looking Audi cars on our list, both inside and out. The interior is full of rich leathers, plush fabrics and quality styling and the exterior is bold and has that classic Audi feel. There are two diesel and one petrol engines in the line-up which can suit a range of buyers. The third row of seats aren’t as spacious as the second, but the boot space is an impressive 295 litre which increases to 770 litres with the seats tucked away!

3. SEAT Tarraco

The SEAT Tarraco is quite a new contender in the best 7-seater list. The Tarraco features a near identical engine range to the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq. However, the SEAT comes out on top when it comes to driving performance and value for money. The third row of seats is quite tight and can be better suited to kids rather than adults but if you’re looking for a big family car then it could be ideal for you! The seats fold away easily and boast a sizeable boot with easy loading access.

2. Kia Sorento PHEV

The Kia Sorento PHEV is one of the very best and is awarded 8/10 in our Kia Sorento PHEV review. It only just missed out on our top spot in this list, but it should not be overlooked. Kia’s 7-year warranty adds extra peace of mine for any family and is a big selling point for many. The Kia Sorento PHEV really is an all-rounder. It has an impressive 35-mile range when in all electric mode and around 43 miles when dotting around the city. The ride is comfortable, handles well and there’s sufficient room for seven people. It also has some fun added extras such as the ability to use the passenger intercom features which plays the drivers voice in the rear speakers, so you don’t have to shout at the kids in the back row!

1. Volvo XC90

The Volvo XC90 is a chart topper in the list of best SUVs. It has been a fan favourite for a while now but it’s easy to see why. The distinctive exterior styling, smart technology and sleek interior makes it a truly appealing choice. The seven-seat versatility is hard to beat and comes with a range of options. The third row is even comfortable enough for two adults which can be hard to find in a large SUV.
