As we all probably know, Techfest, is the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay’s largest annual science and technology festival (IIT-B). They are all set to host the 26th edition of Techfest from 16th to 18th of December 2022. Well the good news is that the website for the 26th edition of Techfest was launched on September 4, 2022. And it has already commenced the process of going completely offline after two years. 

Traditional and most famous events are lecture series and exhibitions. This year’s edition lineup for this largest Techfest will be available on the website shortly. A schedule of events can be available on the website  

This year’s website is based on the theme “The Submerged Sojourn.” Does this sound interesting? Isn’t it? 

Now, let’s take a closer look at some of their key events-

  1. Zonals: Techfest will conduct National Zonals Rounds in five locations named Mumbai, Nagpur, Bangalore, Bhopal and Jaipur. The Zonal may organize workshops, competitions, and mentoring sessions. This year’s prize pool is set at 2.4 lakh rupees. So, if you are interested to know about all the competitions please visit
  1. International Competitions: Techfest has managed to evolve over its 25-year history to provide an international platform for all technology enthusiasts. For those who are seeking to demonstrate their abilities via challenges and cutting-edged competitions in science and technology.

In the International micro mouse challenge the competition’s winners will receive 1 lakh in prizes. Participants in the international micro mouse challenge will be asked to create an autonomous self-contained robot. While in the World Programming Challenging the winner will receive one lakh rupees. Participants’ problem-solving and competitive coding skills will be tested in this competition.
